Description

  • Prepare P&IDs and define equipment specifications.
  • Evaluate plants and improve process parameters to raise productivity or reduce energy use.
  • Train manufacturing and engineering teams in Dairy and Nutrition processes.
  • Support plants in resolving manufacturing process issues.
  • Lead conceptual project development, including initial designs, budgets, timelines and feasibility studies.
  • Support projects defining and specifying manufacturing processes and equipment.
  • Lead project commissioning.
  • Occasionally lead strategic projects for new production lines.
  • Report to the Divisional Dairy Engineering Executive Manager.

Requirements

  • Experience as a process manager or process engineer, with knowledge of dairy, nutrition or the pharmaceutical industry
  • Experience optimizing processes
  • Knowledge of unit operations such as dissolution, pasteurization, sterilization, concentration, evaporation, drying, and powder conveying and handling
  • Experience designing CIP systems
  • Experience with UHT processes
  • Degree in chemical, food or mechanical engineering
  • Experience delivering projects through design, construction, commissioning and start-up
  • Fluency in English
  • Project management experience
  • Willingness to travel about 80% of the time
