Description

  • Win AI consulting engagements by uncovering client needs, defining value, and preparing persuasive proposals.
  • Direct AI engagements end to end, spanning strategy, use-case design, proofs of concept, MVPs, implementation, and scaling.
  • Manage concurrent projects and workstreams while maintaining delivery quality, commercial performance, risk controls, agreed outcomes, and timelines.
  • Convert business requirements into practical AI solutions and implementation plans aligned with client goals, technical direction, and expected value.
  • Develop trusted relationships and lead strategic conversations with senior leaders across business, technology, data, operations, risk, and transformation.
  • Bring together multidisciplinary teams of VCA consultants, Visa specialists, AI experts, technology groups, software houses, and external partners.
  • Expand VCA’s AI offering and expert network through reusable methods, stronger internal capabilities, and partnerships with technology and implementation providers.

Requirements

  • Background delivering AI strategy, transformation, proof-of-concept, MVP, or implementation initiatives, ideally within banking.
  • Working knowledge of LLMs, retrieval-augmented generation, AI assistants, agentic workflows, model orchestration, and API integrations.
  • Familiarity with cloud AI platforms, data architecture, model assessment, security, and Responsible AI practices.
  • Track record leading multidisciplinary teams and collaborating with AI vendors, software houses, and technology partners.
  • Experience creating AI consulting offerings, delivery frameworks, and organizational capabilities.
  • Payments expertise is helpful but not essential.
  • Strong curiosity about AI and a commitment to keeping pace with emerging technologies, tools, and market developments.
