Description

Build software components to design specifications.
Integrate systems and test their behavior.
Investigate and resolve technical issues.
Write unit tests for software components.
Help estimate project work and delivery schedules.
Work with teammates and communicate with project stakeholders.
Contribute technical guidance to product roadmaps.
Take part in triage, including incident analysis and prioritization.
Maintain and improve CI/CD processes.
Develop and maintain custom software for a large European public-sector customer.
Contribute to a tax administration system for declarations, calculations, assessments, and external-system integrations.

Requirements

Bring at least six years of Java development experience.
Have strong experience with Spring Framework and Quarkus.
Understand microservices architecture and container technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
Have experience with relational databases such as PostgreSQL or other RDBMS.
Have experience with REST/SOAP integrations and messaging technologies such as Kafka and ActiveMQ.
Understand software testing principles.
Communicate confidently in English.
Collaborate and communicate effectively with stakeholders and distributed teams.
Angular front-end development experience is an advantage.
German or Swiss German language skills are an advantage.
