Description

Build software components to match design specifications.
Integrate systems and test their interactions.
Investigate and resolve software issues.
Write and run unit tests for software components.
Help estimate project effort and delivery schedules.
Work closely with teammates and communicate with project stakeholders.
Contribute technical guidance to product roadmaps.
Join triage work, including incident analysis and prioritization.
Maintain and improve CI/CD processes.
Build and maintain tailored software for a large European public-sector client.
Develop a tax administration system for declarations, tax calculations, assessments, and integrations with external systems.

Requirements

Bring at least six years of Java development experience.
Have strong experience with the Spring Framework and Quarkus.
Understand microservices architecture and container technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
Have experience with PostgreSQL or another relational database system.
Have experience with REST or SOAP integrations and messaging tools such as Kafka or ActiveMQ.
Understand software testing principles.
Communicate confidently in English.
Collaborate effectively with stakeholders and distributed teams.
Angular front-end development experience is an advantage.
German or Swiss German language skills are an advantage.
