Description

Build software components from design specifications
Integrate and test systems
Investigate and resolve technical issues
Unit test software components
Help estimate project effort and delivery timelines
Work with teammates and communicate with project stakeholders
Contribute technical guidance to product roadmaps
Take part in triage, including incident analysis and prioritization
Maintain and improve CI/CD processes
Develop and maintain tailored software for a large European public-sector technology services customer
Contribute to a tax administration system for declarations, calculations, assessments, and external system integrations

Requirements

At least 6 years of Java development experience
Strong experience with Spring Framework and Quarkus
Understanding of microservices architecture and container tools such as Docker and Kubernetes
Experience with relational databases, including PostgreSQL or another RDBMS
Experience with REST and SOAP integrations, and messaging systems such as Kafka and ActiveMQ
Sound understanding of software testing principles
Confident English communication skills
Strong communication and collaboration skills with stakeholders and distributed teams
Angular front-end development experience is a plus
German or Swiss German language skills are a plus
