Description

Build and maintain tailored software for a large European public-sector technology services client
Implement software components from design specifications
Integrate systems and test their operation
Investigate and resolve technical issues
Write unit tests for software components
Help estimate project work and delivery schedules
Work closely with teammates and communicate with project stakeholders
Advise on technical direction for product roadmaps
Help triage, analyze, and prioritize incidents
Maintain and improve CI/CD processes
Help build a tax administration system for declarations, calculations, assessments, and integrations with external systems

Requirements

At least six years of Java development experience
Strong experience with the Spring Framework and Quarkus
Knowledge of microservices architecture and container technologies, including Docker and Kubernetes
Experience with relational databases such as PostgreSQL or other RDBMS
Experience with REST and SOAP integrations and messaging technologies such as Kafka and ActiveMQ
Good understanding of software testing principles
Confident English communication skills
Strong communication and collaboration skills when working with stakeholders and distributed teams
Angular front-end development experience is a plus
German or Swiss German language skills are a plus
