Description

Build software components to match design specifications.
Integrate systems and test their behavior.
Investigate and resolve software issues.
Write unit tests for software components.
Help estimate project workloads and delivery schedules.
Work closely with teammates and communicate with project stakeholders.
Advise on technical direction for product roadmaps.
Help triage, analyze, and prioritize incidents.
Maintain and improve CI/CD processes.
Build and maintain tailored software for a large European public-sector technology services customer.
Contribute to a tax administration system for processing declarations, calculating taxes, making assessments, and integrating with external systems.

Requirements

At least six years of Java development experience.
Strong experience with the Spring Framework and Quarkus.
Knowledge of microservices architecture and container technologies, including Docker and Kubernetes.
Experience with relational databases such as PostgreSQL or other RDBMS platforms.
Experience with REST and SOAP integrations and messaging systems such as Kafka and ActiveMQ.
A solid understanding of software testing principles.
Confident communication skills in English.
Strong communication and collaboration skills with stakeholders and distributed teams.
Angular front-end development experience is a plus.
German or Swiss German language skills are a plus.
