Senior IT Auditor

Lead IT controls, SOX testing, and governance activities at Ipiranga, a Brazilian mobility and fuel services company.

Description

  • Carry out the annual SOX plan for IT general controls.
  • Map processes, risks, and IT general controls.
  • Monitor controls on an ongoing basis.
  • Conduct objective, independent audit testing within the defined scope.
  • Support teamwork and help the team meet its objectives.
  • Apply the company’s audit methodology and standards throughout each audit.
  • Identify and resolve segregation of duties conflicts.
  • Prepare audit documentation and workpapers.
  • Develop materials for audit planning and status meetings with auditees.
  • Present results clearly and systematically to management and auditees.
  • Help develop root-cause solutions and track unresolved or process-related deficiencies.

Requirements

  • Prior experience with SOX certification is required.
  • Experience at a Big Four firm is preferred.
  • Take a proactive approach to solving problems.
  • Work collaboratively with the team, internal departments, and external auditors.
  • Take ownership of deliverables while working with a high degree of autonomy.
  • Build effective working relationships with the team, audited departments, and external auditors.
  • Communicate issues effectively with departments and report findings to management.
  • Know IT general controls, SOX, and the COBIT and COSO frameworks.
  • Hold a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a technology-related field.
  • Intermediate English for reading reports is preferred.
