Senior iOS Software Engineer, Garmin Cluj (Hybrid)

Build Garmin Connect fitness and outdoor apps for users of Garmin devices. Develop Swift-based features, test and debug code, and improve application performance.

Description

  • Design and develop advanced iOS applications.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to define, design, and deliver new features.
  • Write robust unit tests covering edge cases, usability, and reliability.
  • Resolve defects and enhance application performance.
  • Evaluate and adopt technologies that improve the development process.

Requirements

  • Strong knowledge of SwiftUI and UIKit, modern concurrency, modular app architecture, Swift Package Manager modules, MVVM, and router-based navigation.
  • At least five years of iOS development experience.
  • Ability to learn quickly, with enthusiasm and a strong work ethic.
  • Process-focused approach, meticulous attention to detail, and the ability to solve problems and develop solutions independently or within a small team.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Professional proficiency in English.
  • Experience with Bluetooth, Promises, SwiftUI, and Combine, plus familiarity with Agile methodologies, is an advantage.
