Description

  • Build and maintain a native iOS app using Swift.
  • Add features and improve existing app components.
  • Develop with SwiftUI and/or UIKit.
  • Maintain app stability, performance, and code quality.
  • Build and refine accessibility features in native iOS apps.
  • Ensure the app works with VoiceOver.
  • Use iOS Accessibility APIs and SwiftUI Accessibility.
  • Support Dynamic Type and scalable text sizes.
  • Set accessibility labels, traits, values, and actions.
  • Improve accessibility focus management.
  • Make navigation and app use more accessible for people with disabilities.
  • Test accessibility, especially with VoiceOver.
  • Find and fix accessibility issues.
  • Check solutions against applicable accessibility standards.
  • Support compliance with WCAG 2.1/2.2.

Requirements

  • At least five years of professional experience in native iOS development.
  • Strong practical command of Swift.
  • Commercial experience with SwiftUI and/or UIKit.
  • Extensive hands-on experience implementing accessibility in native iOS apps.
  • Strong practical experience with VoiceOver.
  • Experience with iOS Accessibility APIs or SwiftUI Accessibility.
  • Experience supporting Dynamic Type and scalable text sizes.
  • Experience using accessibility labels.
  • Experience using accessibility traits.
  • Experience using accessibility values.
  • Experience using accessibility actions.
  • Experience managing accessibility focus.
  • Practical experience testing accessibility, especially with VoiceOver.
  • Knowledge of accessibility standards, ideally WCAG 2.1/2.2.
  • English communication skills.
