Senior HVAC Project Completion Engineer — Remote in Norway
Senior HVAC completion engineer responsible for testing, integration, commissioning, and handover of offshore energy systems at Energy AS. The role coordinates verification, safety, and multidisciplinary project activities.
Description
- Own testing, integration, and commissioning activities for HVAC systems
- Ensure completion and commissioning requirements are met throughout the project lifecycle
- Manage point-to-point verification and prepare temporary systems needed for operational readiness
- Plan and coordinate end-to-end HVAC testing while verifying system integrity
- Develop detailed commissioning plans and coordinate activities across disciplines
- Plan and coordinate support for testing, calibration, and functional verification
- Foster close collaboration among operations, maintenance, contractors, and suppliers
- Participate actively in commissioning planning and status meetings
- Ensure the safe and efficient handover of systems to the operations organization
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or an equivalent technical qualification
- Relevant documented experience may substitute for formal education
- Experience commissioning, completing, or starting up process or offshore facilities
- Strong technical understanding of HVAC systems
- Documented relevant professional expertise
- Valid FSE electrical safety training
- Ability to work independently and systematically in a multidisciplinary project environment
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- High execution capability with a strong focus on health, safety, and environment
- Comfort taking responsibility and coordinating across technical disciplines
- Solution-oriented and proactive approach
- Experience with system responsibility in commissioning or project completion
