Senior General Manager - UK Supply Chain Fulfilment
Lead GXO’s UK B&Q fulfilment network across 11 warehouse and transport sites. Own performance across P&L, safety, service, people, and commercial operations.
Description
- Set strategic direction for a national warehouse and transport network
- Deliver operational, customer, and commercial targets
- Hold full accountability for the network P&L
- Improve financial results, optimise costs, and support sustainable growth
- Lead and develop senior operational managers
- Build a culture of accountability, engagement, and ongoing improvement
- Maintain service excellence and deliver customer SLAs and KPIs
- Oversee health, safety, compliance, and operational governance across the network
- Direct operations across 11 sites and up to 500 colleagues
- Help define the future of GXO’s B&Q supply chain fulfilment network
Requirements
- Extensive senior leadership experience in large-scale logistics, supply chain, warehousing, or transport operations
- A track record of managing significant operational budgets and P&L accountability across multiple sites
- Strong commercial judgement to balance customer needs, operational results, and financial performance
- Outstanding leadership, communication, and stakeholder management abilities, including executive-level influence
- Proven success delivering major change, transformation, automation, or operational improvement initiatives
- Availability for regular travel within the UK
