Senior Funding Consultant

Support CIVITTA’s consulting projects on EU and Polish funding applications. Research opportunities, analyze data, and coordinate client-facing project delivery.

Description

  • Develop funding proposals by drafting applications, preparing documentation, and assembling submission materials.
  • Research EU and local funding opportunities, assess project feasibility, and produce evidence-based insights.
  • Coordinate data collection, quantitative and qualitative analysis, and project delivery.
  • Complete assigned work independently within established methods, frameworks, and timelines.
  • Interview clients and build working relationships with specialist-level client staff.
  • Help companies secure EU and national funding, including grants and blended finance.
  • Support start-ups, SMEs, and corporates as they scale innovation projects in green technology, AI, the circular economy, and digital transformation.

Requirements

  • Bring 2–3 years of experience in consulting, EU or local funding, or a related field.
  • Be familiar with EU funding programmes such as LIFE, CEF, and the Innovation Fund, as well as Polish local funding programmes.
  • Have experience writing proposals.
  • Hold a bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline, such as economics, political science, international relations, business administration, finance, management, or sustainability.
  • Demonstrate strong research, analytical, and writing skills.
  • Have a background in finance, economics, or sustainability.
  • Be able to manage tasks and timelines independently.
  • Have client-facing experience, such as conducting interviews, facilitating workshops, or coordinating activities.
  • Bring strong data visualisation skills and solid presentation design experience.
  • Be fluent in English and Polish; additional languages are an advantage.
