Senior Full-Stack Software Engineer at insightsoftware — India Remote

Description
- Lead daily technical execution for a small application-development scrum team
- Develop and improve features across the Certent Equity Management platform
- Create, review, and maintain production-quality full-stack code using C#/.NET, Angular, and Oracle
- Contribute to sprint planning, refinement, standups, demonstrations, and retrospectives
- Set daily priorities and remove blockers by resolving dependencies, clarifying requirements, and addressing technical uncertainty
- Maintain engineering quality through unit testing, disciplined code reviews, definition-of-done standards, and release-readiness practices
- Promote targets of at least 50% AI-authored pull requests and at least 95% AI-assisted code review adoption
- Embed agentic development tools into everyday workflows and support their use across the team
- Monitor developments in agentic engineering tools and propose improvements to engineering leadership
- Work with client stakeholders on requirements, design reviews, demonstration feedback, and issue resolution
- Identify underlying business problems and promote solutions that can scale across the CEM platform
- Coordinate planning and delivery with engineering, product management, QA, architecture, and senior engineering stakeholders
- Work with QA engineers on test coverage, quality gates, and release preparation
- Contribute to technical decisions and engineering standards across teams
- Escalate delivery risks, technical impediments, and scope issues to engineering leadership
Requirements
- At least 6–8 years of hands-on software engineering experience in enterprise SaaS
- Proven technical leadership experience within a scrum team
- Advanced full-stack experience with C#, .NET Framework and/or .NET Core, Angular, and Oracle
- Strong command of Domain-Driven Design (DDD)
- Practical experience applying CQRS in multi-service architectures
- Hands-on use of agentic development tools such as GitHub Copilot or Devin.AI
- Demonstrated success increasing AI adoption within an engineering team
- Consistent code review practices and a strong focus on engineering quality
- Unit-testing experience with xUnit or NUnit and Jasmine or Karma
- Experience maintaining CI/CD hygiene and rigorous definition-of-done practices
- Experience with Angular 15+, Reactive Forms, RxJS, Angular Material, and TypeScript
- Oracle and PL/SQL experience, including packages, procedures, views, and query optimization
- Experience with Entity Framework Core and the Oracle EF Core provider
- At least 3 years of experience with Azure technologies and Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines
- Clear communicator who can work with clients and explain technical constraints to non-technical audiences
- Experience collaborating in global, distributed teams across multiple time zones
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent professional experience
- Preferred: knowledge of .NET modernization patterns
- Preferred: experience with Liquibase schema migration tooling
- Preferred: familiarity with Serilog, Datadog APM, or Application Insights
- Preferred: experience with Docker, Podman, or comparable containerization tools
- Preferred: experience with Hangfire or similar background job schedulers
- Preferred: experience working across multi-repository, multi-product platforms that share a database and internal NuGet package ecosystem
- Preferred: experience in financial services, equity compensation, or a related regulated field
- Preferred: Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or equivalent Agile certification
- Preferred: experience mentoring mid-level engineers toward senior-level roles
