Senior Full Stack Engineer, Mobile and Web

Description

  • Build product features spanning React Native interfaces and Spring Boot services.
  • Lead the mobile and web client experience.
  • Open new markets while reducing the manual work required for future launches.
  • Meet country-specific regulatory, payout, and localization needs.
  • Develop and maintain tools that support market launches.
  • Build and support balances, ledgers, transfers, and reconciliation.
  • Connect products with payout partners, KYC providers, card issuers, and internal platforms.
  • Improve automated testing, alerting, wallet recovery, and KYC workflows.
  • Manage deployments, monitoring, on-call duties, and root cause analysis.
  • Track product usage and investigate where users leave the cash-to-balance conversion flow.
  • Coordinate with US East Coast teams through written and asynchronous communication.

Requirements

  • At least seven years of experience building and shipping production software.
  • Strong experience with React and React Native.
  • Experience developing and maintaining production mobile apps.
  • Fluency in TypeScript.
  • Strong backend engineering skills with Java and Spring Boot, or comparable experience and the ability to learn them quickly.
  • Experience designing RESTful APIs.
  • Experience with relational data modeling.
  • Familiarity with failure modes in distributed systems.
  • Experience with automated testing and CI/CD.
  • Comfort working with legacy systems and refactoring them incrementally.
  • Ability to work with limited direction on a small, fast-moving team.
  • Current authorization to work in Germany or Portugal.
  • Preferred: experience with payments or fintech at scale, including ledgers, reconciliation, KYC/AML, PCI, and chargebacks.
  • Preferred: experience with crypto, stablecoins, blockchain payment rails, wallet and custody infrastructure, or smart contracts.
  • Preferred: native iOS or Android experience alongside React Native.
