Senior Financial Analyst, Consortia and Commissions | Randoncorp

Manage consortia groups and commission processes for Rands, Randoncorp’s financial vertical. Use Excel, Power BI, and SQL for analysis, controls, reconciliations, and process improvement.

Description

  • Lead consortia-group financial processes while meeting deadlines, policies, procedures, and regulatory obligations
  • Manage commercial-partner commission controls through registration, review, calculation, validation, and reconciliation activities
  • Verify commission rules, payments, reversals, and adjustments
  • Track and assess operational and financial KPIs covering groups, transactions, transfers, commissions, deadlines, quality, and productivity
  • Develop reports, controls, and analyses that inform business decisions
  • Investigate operational and financial variances, determine root causes, and track corrective action plans
  • Find ways to improve, automate, and standardize controls, reconciliations, calculations, and closing activities
  • Apply data, artificial intelligence, and collaboration tools to improve productivity and analytical work
  • Help define business requirements for Technology and Operational Excellence teams
  • Contribute to projects that improve systems, dashboards, automations, and features supporting financial and commission processes
  • Maintain procedures, work instructions, forms, controls, and process documentation
  • Provide technical assistance to internal teams, customers, sales consultants, and the sales network
  • Assist internal and external audits by supplying information, assessing findings, and tracking action plans
  • Share relevant knowledge and effective practices with colleagues

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree completed
  • Experience with financial or commission processes
  • Advanced Excel proficiency, including formulas, pivot tables, data preparation, and data cross-referencing
  • Power BI knowledge, including KPI queries and development of low- to medium-complexity analyses or dashboards
  • Intermediate SQL proficiency, including queries, data extraction, cross-referencing, and information validation
  • Experience in consortia, banking, credit unions, insurance, fintech, or regulated financial operations is a plus
  • Experience calculating, verifying, reconciling, or governing commissions and commercial-partner compensation is a plus
  • Experience with Databricks or other data platforms is a plus
  • Experience with automation tools such as Power Automate, RPA, or macros is a plus
