Senior Financial Accountant – Hybrid

Senior Financial Accountant responsible for management accounts and consolidated reporting at Universal Business Team. The role also drives NetSuite improvements across a multi-entity finance function.

Description

  • Own month-end close activities across multiple entities
  • Prepare and review monthly management accounts
  • Deliver consolidated financial reporting and analysis
  • Oversee intercompany transactions, reconciliations, and eliminations
  • Safeguard balance sheet accuracy through detailed reconciliations and controls
  • Contribute to budgeting, forecasting, and business planning
  • Support statutory reporting and year-end audit activities
  • Maintain compliance with accounting standards and internal controls
  • Serve as a key NetSuite subject matter expert for the finance function
  • Contribute to ERP optimisation and finance process improvements
  • Partner with operational and finance stakeholders across the group

Requirements

  • ACA, ACCA, or CIMA qualification
  • Training completed in an accountancy practice
  • Experience in a multi-entity or group finance environment
  • Strong management accounting and month-end reporting experience
  • Experience preparing consolidated financial information
  • Strong understanding of intercompany accounting
  • Advanced NetSuite experience is essential
  • Excellent analytical, organisational, and communication skills
  • Ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced, evolving environment
  • Experience with complex business groups containing multiple trading entities
  • Experience supporting ERP implementations or system enhancements
  • Knowledge of IFRS reporting requirements
  • Experience improving finance processes and operational efficiency
