Senior Data Solution Architect (Remote - United States)
Senior Data Solution Architect responsible for scalable data warehouse and analytics architecture at Live Nation Entertainment. Designing Databricks and AWS solutions for high-volume live entertainment data.
Description
- Define and implement modern data warehouse architectures and frameworks spanning data modeling, ETL pipelines, orchestration, storage, and access patterns
- Develop scalable data solutions with Databricks, AWS, and other modern technologies for large-scale, high-frequency workloads
- Design and build APIs and data integration layers that enable system interoperability and real-time data access
- Enhance performance, scalability, and cost efficiency across ETL processes, compute environments, and data delivery systems
- Partner with Data Engineering, Platform Engineering, and Analytics teams to connect technical solutions with business outcomes
- Promote best practices in data quality, lineage, metadata management, and compliance
- Produce architecture diagrams, technical documentation, and reusable design templates to improve consistency
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, information systems, or a related discipline
- At least 10 years of experience in data engineering or architecture
- Advanced expertise in data warehousing and distributed data systems
- Demonstrated experience building large-scale, high-throughput pipelines with Databricks, Spark, Delta Lake, S3, and related technologies
- Thorough knowledge of ETL/ELT design, data modeling, and batch and streaming integration patterns
- Strong Python and SQL programming abilities
- Familiarity with API development and orchestration tools
- Experience with cloud platforms, preferably AWS
- Experience with Snowflake, Redshift, or BigQuery
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a proactive approach and sense of ownership
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to explain complex technical concepts to varied audiences
- Knowledge of data governance, data lineage, and security best practices
- AWS, Databricks, or related certifications are advantageous
