Senior Content Creator at Berry Law (Remote)

Berry Law is seeking a senior content creator to produce authoritative legal and policy content for Veterans. The role combines research, writing, editing, and multimedia storytelling to educate readers and strengthen the firm’s national reputation.

Description

  • Research and report original topics while producing authoritative studies, reports, and white papers
  • Create thought leadership content positioning Berry Law as a national authority in Veterans Disability and Personal Injury law
  • Build editorial calendars around firm priorities, legislative developments, and strategic initiatives
  • Track legal, legislative, and VA policy changes to uncover timely stories relevant to Veterans
  • Produce long-form website copy, practice area pages, guides, and educational materials
  • Write executive thought leadership, opinion pieces, and content prepared for media use
  • Create persuasive copy responding to breaking news and emerging media opportunities
  • Publish timely website news updates and commentary
  • Plan podcast content, including episode outlines and interview preparation
  • Write video scripts, storyboards, and production briefs
  • Work with the Producer to create engaging multimedia stories
  • Develop messaging for social media, email, public relations, and executive communications
  • Edit and review content for accuracy, quality, and brand consistency
  • Act as the firm’s final editorial authority for complex content
  • Work with attorneys to confirm legal accuracy and compliance with attorney advertising rules
  • Ensure all published material meets Berry Law’s brand and ethical standards
  • Explain complex legal topics in accessible language while safeguarding the firm’s reputation

Requirements

  • Ph.D. in Journalism from an accredited institution
  • Demonstrated exceptional writing and editing ability through a portfolio of published work
  • Proven ability to communicate clearly with both professional and consumer audiences
  • Strong research, organizational, and editorial decision-making skills
  • Ability to turn sophisticated legal topics into compelling, accessible content
  • Meticulous attention to detail and a firm commitment to accuracy
  • Preferred: Experience reporting on law, government, public policy, or military affairs
  • Preferred: Knowledge of Veterans Disability, Personal Injury, or litigation
  • Preferred: Experience creating thought leadership or educational materials
  • Preferred: Familiarity with SEO, content strategy, Answer Engine Optimization (AEO), and AI-assisted research
  • Preferred: Experience working with Veteran or military communities
  • Preferred: Experience partnering with marketing, media, or communications teams
