Senior Compliance Analyst, Governance Programs

Lead Snowflake’s compliance governance programs across audits, controls, regulatory responses, and customer assurance. Partner with technical, legal, and business teams to strengthen security posture and trust.

Description

  • Interpret compliance obligations for regulated industries and apply them to Snowflake’s operations
  • Design and manage compliance programs covering readiness, external communications, and customer and regulator audits
  • Develop deep expertise in Snowflake’s control environment, security capabilities, and customer deployment practices
  • Advise customers and regulators on Snowflake’s security and compliance responsibilities and supporting documentation
  • Create self-service materials that help customers and field teams resolve compliance questions independently
  • Support sales discussions by explaining Snowflake’s security and compliance capabilities
  • Collaborate with IT, Legal, Product, Security, and Engineering leaders to improve security posture and customer confidence

Requirements

  • Preferably bring at least five years of experience in risk management, compliance, GRC, or a related governance role
  • Demonstrated ability to manage programs and lead cross-functional initiatives without direct authority over participants
  • Experience creating and maintaining governance materials such as policies, standards, procedures, and guidelines
  • Ability to influence Engineering, IT, Legal, and Security stakeholders to implement and remediate controls
  • Working knowledge of at least one established governance or risk framework, including ISO 27001, SOC 1/SOC 2, or NIST CSF
  • Ability to turn governance requirements into practical controls and processes adopted by operational teams, beyond writing policies
  • Experience applying AI to automate or improve manual compliance workflows
  • US Person status is required because the role involves covered federal data and government authorization work
  • CISSP, CRISC, CISA, or another information security certification
  • Experience with NIST 800-53 or HIPAA
