Senior Business Intelligence Data Analyst

Description

  • Support the Service Fund team as it expands value-based programs.
  • Work with providers to help them succeed in value-based programs.
  • Report to the Associate Director of Business Intelligence.
  • Help develop, launch, and evaluate new programs.
  • Maintain existing programs.
  • Apply complex SQL, Azure Synapse Analytics, and other technical skills to improve processes and manage value-based relationships.
  • Research program activity and prepare monthly reports.
  • Reconcile data and explain its relevance to current and potential programs.
  • Create reports and handle ad hoc requests using Excel, Azure Synapse Analytics, and other analytical tools.
  • Support payments to value-based specialists.
  • Help assess opportunities for new value-based programs.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree and at least 5 years of data analysis experience, or a master’s degree and at least 3 years of data analysis experience.
  • At least 2 years of advanced experience developing complex SQL queries.
  • At least 1 year of experience with healthcare data, such as provider or insurance data.
  • Experience using Excel, including pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, and formatting.
  • Advanced experience working with large, complex datasets in large organizations.
  • Experience communicating verbally and in writing with senior and executive leaders.
  • This role is not eligible for work visa sponsorship.
