Senior Blockchain Engineer in Buenos Aires (Hybrid)
Build Solidity smart contracts and blockchain services for international payments and treasury infrastructure. Manage stablecoin settlement, custody integrations, and on-chain accounting.
Description
- Create, test, and deploy Solidity smart contracts across EVM networks
- Develop backend services for transaction submission, nonce and gas handling, event indexing, and ledger reconciliation
- Connect digital-asset custody and wallet systems, including MPC wallets, policy engines, and transaction-signing workflows
- Deliver stablecoin funding, settlement, and liquidity flows across corridors, including on/off-ramp and cross-chain connections
- Lead smart-contract security efforts through threat modeling, testing, fuzzing, static analysis, and external-auditor coordination
- Assess and benchmark EVM Layer 1 and Layer 2 networks by finality, cost, tooling, custody compatibility, and liquidity
- Implement monitoring and alerts for failed or stalled transactions, balance limits, and contract events
- Convert Treasury, Finance, and Compliance needs into practical technical designs
- Review code, mentor engineers, and contribute to development standards, CI/CD, and deployment practices
- Apply AI tools to speed up development, testing, and documentation
Requirements
- At least five years of software development experience, including two or more years building blockchain products
- Demonstrated experience delivering production smart contracts to mainnet with real value at stake
- Advanced Solidity skills and a thorough grasp of the EVM, including gas optimization, storage layout, upgradeability patterns, and common vulnerabilities
- Practical experience with Foundry or Hardhat and ethers.js, viem, or web3.js
- Backend development experience with TypeScript/Node.js, C#/.NET, Go, or Python, including APIs and asynchronous services
- Experience working with wallets, key management, and end-to-end transaction lifecycles
- Hands-on familiarity with ERC-20 tokens and stablecoins
- Experience using Git, automated testing, and CI/CD pipelines
- Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Economics, or a related discipline
- Advanced English proficiency
- Preferred: experience in fintech, payments, banking, or treasury operations
- Preferred: experience with institutional custody providers or MPC wallet infrastructure
- Preferred: experience with cross-chain messaging and bridges
- Preferred: experience with smart-contract security tools, audits, or bug bounty programs
- Preferred: familiarity with node operation, RPC providers, and indexers
- Preferred: familiarity with Azure, Kubernetes, and containerized deployments
- Preferred: knowledge of crypto-asset regulation and KYC/AML practices
- Preferred: public GitHub work, open-source contributions, or audited contracts
