Senior Audit Analyst – Bentonville, Onsite

Support Walmart’s Global Audit team through enterprise audits, risk mitigation, and data analytics. Partner with business leaders to strengthen audit efficiency, governance, and business insight.

Description

  • Contribute to multiple audits conducted by the Audit Team throughout the year
  • Apply data analytics to make audits more efficient and effective
  • Build cross-functional relationships while serving as a trusted advisor and organizational resource
  • Develop business knowledge to identify, evaluate, and mitigate risk
  • Perform audit work and contribute to new departmental initiatives
  • Improve audit processes through data analytics, automation, and integration opportunities
  • Report to the Director of Global Audit
  • Work with business leaders across Walmart to provide insights that support enterprise performance

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in a bachelor’s degree program
  • Expected graduation between December 2026 and June 2027
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field plus one year of internal or external audit, management information systems, or related experience, or three years of relevant experience without the degree qualification
  • Demonstrated communication and collaboration abilities
  • Ability to think from a broad, enterprise perspective
  • Servant leadership capabilities
  • Organized and methodical approach to work
  • Strong problem-solving ability
  • High level of attention to detail
  • Effective time-management skills
  • Preferred majors include Accounting, Finance, Business, Management Information Systems, or another relevant discipline
  • Must not require Walmart sponsorship for work authorization now or in the future
