Description

Build and design Android applications
Maintain strong application performance, quality, and responsiveness
Partner with the team to define, design, and release new features
Use technical design documentation to guide solution development
Diagnose bottlenecks, resolve defects, and improve application behavior
Support code quality, maintainable organization, and automation
Apply DevOps principles, methods, and tools in development work
Develop and maintain Android applications connected to back-end services
Collaborate with engineers and developers responsible for different infrastructure layers

Requirements

Advanced Java skills with substantial experience developing in Kotlin
Proficiency with the Android Studio IDE
Strong grasp of object-oriented programming principles
Professional experience using Groovy
Understanding of application performance constraints and characteristics
Knowledge of memory management and multithreaded programming
Familiarity with RESTful APIs
Ability to implement user-focused interfaces and apply UI design principles
Experience with automated testing platforms and unit testing
Ability to benchmark systems and optimize performance
Understanding of Apple's design principles and interface guidelines
Proficiency with code versioning tools such as Git or Azure DevOps
Familiarity with continuous integration practices
Experience with Agile methods and tools such as Jira
BSc in Computer Science or an equivalent qualification
At least five years of professional work experience
