SAP TM Architect / Consultant at Talan — Spain Remote

Talan is seeking an SAP TM Architect / Consultant to design and implement transportation management solutions for international consulting clients. The role covers integrations, testing, optimization, and SAP-focused business transformation.

Description

  • Own the design, configuration, and delivery of SAP TM solutions that meet business needs and follow established best practices.
  • Analyze business processes and convert complex requirements into functional specifications and solution designs.
  • Advise on SAP TM capabilities such as freight order management, freight settlement, charge management, and transportation planning.
  • Partner with technical teams on custom development, SAP ECC/S/4HANA, EWM, EM, and GTS integrations, as well as data migration.
  • Execute system testing and assist with user acceptance testing.
  • Train end users on implemented solutions and processes.
  • Diagnose and resolve complex SAP TM problems.
  • Provide continuing operational support and deliver system improvements.
  • Serve as an SAP TM subject matter expert and propose strategic enhancements informed by product developments and industry trends.
  • Create and maintain functional specifications, configuration documentation, and test plans.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, logistics, supply chain management, or a comparable discipline.
  • At least five years of practical experience as an SAP TM Consultant or Architect.
  • Strong command of SAP TM functions, including freight orders, freight settlement, charge management, planning, and optimization.
  • Solid knowledge of SAP TM integration with SD, MM, FI/CO, EWM, EM, and S/4HANA.
  • Experience delivering at least two complete SAP TM implementations, from blueprinting and configuration through testing and go-live support.
  • Highly developed analytical, problem-solving, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Capacity to work effectively both independently and within a fast-moving team.
  • SAP TM certification is an important advantage.
