Sage Intacct Associate Consultant

Description

  • Assist senior consultants with Sage Intacct implementation configuration, data migration, and testing.
  • Join client discovery and requirements-gathering sessions.
  • Help prepare functional specifications, training materials, and process guides.
  • Troubleshoot client issues and support them after go-live.
  • Build knowledge of Sage Intacct General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Cash Management, and Reporting modules.
  • Develop toward managing modules independently.
  • Observe senior consultants on client calls and gradually take on direct client-facing responsibilities.
  • Use AI tools to draft documentation, summarize discovery calls, and speed up implementation deliverables.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business, information systems, or a related field, or equivalent professional accounting experience.
  • One to two years of business experience.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial processes is preferred.
  • Interest in technology and business software.
  • Willingness to learn new systems and troubleshoot technical issues.
  • Experience contributing to projects through school, internships, or professional work.
  • Exposure to Sage, NetSuite, Microsoft SQL, reporting tools, or other business software.
  • Curiosity about using AI in accounting and ERP workflows.
  • Experience with AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, or Copilot is a plus.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Collaborative approach and a customer-first mindset.
  • Strong organization and time management.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Technical aptitude and comfort learning applications and databases.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to quality work.
  • Adaptability when priorities change.
  • Professional conduct with clients and teammates.
