Description
- Design, simulate, test, and characterize RF subsystems and antennas.
- Work with RF and antenna design engineers on high-performance phased-array systems.
- Contribute to RF and microwave development.
- Review test data and flag performance deviations.
- Use RF and microwave theory to solve practical engineering problems.
- Develop and test RF structures across Ka, Ku, X, C, and S bands.
- Investigate technical problems and trace their root causes.
- Recommend corrective actions based on root-cause findings.
- Resolve engineering challenges with multidisciplinary teams.
- Support continuous improvement efforts.
- Help advance early demonstrators and designs prepared for mass production.
- Coordinate with other engineering disciplines throughout product development.
- Record test work, results, and technical investigations.
- Share findings and recommendations with stakeholders.
- Work with external partners and laboratories as needed.
- Manage assigned work independently and see it through to delivery.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or a related discipline.
- At least five years of practical experience in RF, microwave, or antenna engineering.
- Demonstrated background in RF, microwave, or antenna development and research.
- Solid grasp of RF and microwave theory.
- Practical RF or antenna design and testing experience is an advantage.
- Experience developing RF structures across Ka, Ku, X, C, and S bands.
- Familiarity with phased-array antennas.
- Experience with EDA and simulation tools such as CST, ADS, HFSS, TICRA, and MATLAB.
- Experience spanning engineering disciplines and software workflows, including Altium.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Careful, organized, and attentive to detail.
- Able to own assigned tasks and work independently.
- Good communication and collaboration skills.
- Comfortable in a hands-on, multidisciplinary engineering setting.
- Open-minded, proactive, and keen to contribute to team goals.
