Description

  • Manually match reported usage data for productions and programmes
  • Enter and match data in the system when digital source data is unavailable
  • Research titles and related details online to improve matching accuracy and data integrity
  • Investigate anomalies in automatically matched data and report recurring patterns to the Manager
  • Review potential mismatches and transfer performances when necessary
  • Detect inconsistent or irregular reporting from data sources and notify the Manager and relevant stakeholders
  • Investigate internal and external usage-reporting queries and collect information for accurate responses
  • Compile, research, ingest and match data for Print Distributions reporting
  • Keep accurate records of received, processed and outstanding data while meeting deadlines
  • Support training and the creation or updating of procedure documentation
  • Complete general administrative and data-cleansing tasks as requested

Requirements

  • Strong analytical ability, with a broad understanding of processes, the music industry and APRA’s role
  • Technical knowledge of data-processing stages including pre-processing and parsing, aggregation, validation and matching
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Word for manipulating and presenting data
  • Advanced written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to explain technical terms in plain English
  • General knowledge of contemporary and popular music, broadcasting, and film and television programmes
