Description
- Review, organize, and maintain accurate financial records
- Conduct detailed audits of financial documents, expenditures, and investments
- Reconcile credit card, bank, cash, and spending accounts each day
- Create and configure financial accounts when required
- Supervise ledger reconciliation activities
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes
- Coordinate with tax accountants on tax payments and returns
- Monitor ongoing bookkeeping activities
- Protect confidential company financial information
- Maintain current vendor accounts across the organization
- Oversee inventory management
- Manage purchases from China
- Prepare financial reports, support compliance, and provide strategic financial insights
Requirements
- Strong written and verbal English communication skills
- Bachelor’s or college degree in a relevant discipline
- Demonstrated professional experience as a Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
- Working knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
- Experience in accounting or finance, preferably within the US accounting system
- Familiarity with accounting applications, financial modules, and financial statements
- Capacity to work independently and consistently exceed expectations
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Outlook, Google, Internet Explorer, Microsoft Teams, and related tools
- Computer with at least a 5th-generation Intel i5 processor or equivalent
- At least 4.00 GB of computer memory or RAM
- Windows 10 or Mac OSX operating system; Linux, Unix, and other operating systems are not accepted
- Internet connections of at least 5.0 MBPS for both primary and backup service
- USB-connected noise-cancelling headset
- Webcam supporting at least 3-megapixel resolution and 720p recording
