Description

  • Find new audio data sources and build reliable pipelines that bring them into training datasets.
  • Develop and enhance large-scale data processing systems, balancing data quality, throughput, and cost.
  • Work with AI scientists to strengthen training datasets and support next-generation model development.
  • Lead engineering projects from identifying the problem through implementation and ongoing improvement.

Requirements

  • A degree in computer science or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
  • At least five years of professional software engineering experience, with strong backend development fundamentals.
  • Proficiency in Python and Bash in Linux environments.
  • Experience building and operating production systems, preferably data pipelines or large-scale data processing systems.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, initiative, and the ability to work independently amid ambiguity.
  • Experience with web crawlers, data acquisition, or distributed data processing.
  • Experience with cloud infrastructure and infrastructure as code, especially Google Cloud Platform and Terraform.
  • Familiarity with machine learning training data, dataset quality, or audio processing.
