R&D Analyst II

Description
- Drive product research and development projects from planning through execution.
- Create, review, and maintain product formulations, specifications, and technical records.
- Research scientific literature and assess market trends.
- Plan and oversee bench testing, pilot trials, sensory assessments, and shelf-life studies.
- Evaluate and qualify suppliers, building and maintaining technical partnerships.
- Develop technical resources, training, presentations, and scientific materials.
- Work with Marketing, Sales, Customer Service, Quality, and Regulatory Affairs.
- Take part in relevant audits, trade shows, workshops, and professional training.
- Guide interns and early-career colleagues.
- Coordinate changes to products and processes.
- Keep product data, specifications, and formulations current in company systems.
- Track and apply legislation relevant to the industry.
- Support the organization’s mission and values.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Nutrition, Pharmacy, Food Science, Food Engineering, or a related discipline.
- A postgraduate qualification, specialization, or master’s degree in a related field is preferred.
- Experience in research and development, innovation, food, or supplements is required.
