Project Controller – Airbus Defence and Space, Munich On-Site
Manage financial control for Airbus Defence and Space’s secure satellite communications projects in Munich. Oversee budgets, pricing, invoicing, risk management, and bid support.
Description
- Lead financial project management from project initiation through customer invoicing and cash collection
- Control project finances through budget allocation, variance analysis, mitigation planning, and risk and opportunity management
- Develop bid costings and pricing in line with German pricing regulations
- Administer internal work orders and authorize purchase requests
- Prepare for and assist with pricing audits
- Coordinate colleagues and stakeholders across internal and external teams
- Provide financial support for German Space Digital bid activities
- Partner with project teams and contribute to the Finance community
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Management, or an equivalent discipline
- Extensive experience demonstrating strong Finance and project-controlling knowledge
- Experience using SAP CO/FI
- Experience in matrix organizations with a successful record of stakeholder management
- Ability to anticipate, evaluate, and mitigate risks
- Fluency in German and English
- Professional-level experience
