Program Financial Analyst, Remote in North Carolina

Manage project accounting, forecasting, billing, and financial reporting for CACI’s government and customer programs. Support cost compliance, contract administration, and program performance analysis.

Description

  • Manage contract accounting and financial reporting
  • Provide management with project schedule oversight
  • Track annual fiscal plans and monthly revisions
  • Process, maintain, and report on payroll and personnel information
  • Administer contracts, purchasing, facility leases, and services
  • Maintain contract budgets and prepare customer billings
  • Estimate material, equipment, and production costs alongside delivery schedules
  • Apply financial controls, procedures, system requirements, and forecasting methods
  • Track program requirements and cost performance against approved plans
  • Prepare financial and administrative reports for contracts and programs
  • Distribute financial and administrative reports to customers and user organizations
  • Analyze variances, risks, and profit-and-loss results
  • Set up projects for cost capture, revenue recognition, and customer billing
  • Maintain compliant project setups and update project records
  • Develop financial forecasts
  • Prepare project financial reports, including profit-and-loss statements, project status and PMR reports, funding notifications, estimates to complete and at completion, forecast and budget reports, invoice backup, and client-specific reporting
  • Review timecards, travel vouchers, payment allocations, and funding statements for compliance with policy

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance or a related discipline
  • At least five years of project finance experience using financial management software such as Deltek, Oracle ERP, or SAP
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including VLOOKUP, SUMIF, and pivot tables
  • Ability to build forecasts from the ground up, including wrap rates and burden calculations
  • Ability to create reports and charts from verbal requirements for internal and external audiences
  • Ability to evaluate plans, forecasts, actual costs, and variances and communicate trends to program, line, and finance leadership
  • Ability to prepare adjusting journal entries and reconcile account and invoice types promptly
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively
  • Ability to obtain a Secret clearance
  • Experience with Deltek Costpoint, IBM Cognos, Oracle CAPS and SmartView, Microsoft PowerPoint, and Power BI
  • Experience with time-and-materials contracts
  • Experience with firm-fixed-price contracts
