Product Designer – Germany Remote

Design web and mobile experiences for BridgeAthletic, VALD’s human-performance technology platform. Create training-prescription tools for strength and conditioning coaches.

Description

  • Design end-to-end web and mobile experiences, covering user flows, interactions, interfaces, edge cases, and empty states.
  • Partner with the Product Manager from problem definition through delivery.
  • Work with Engineering during development and QA to ensure the shipped product reflects the design intent.
  • Observe strength and conditioning coaches to understand their workflows firsthand.
  • Own work in progress and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Create reusable patterns and components that strengthen product consistency.
  • Find opportunities to accelerate design work through AI tools and automation.
  • Contribute to BridgeAthletic, a platform for prescribing strength and conditioning programs.

Requirements

  • At least three years of experience designing digital products.
  • Experience with B2B SaaS or professional tools is preferred.
  • A portfolio demonstrating a user-centred approach, strong craft, and clear rationale from problem through shipped solution.
  • Strong visual design skills spanning UI, composition, and interaction design.
  • Ability to create prototypes at different levels of fidelity.
  • Advanced proficiency with Figma.
  • Experience working with component-based design systems.
  • Clear and confident communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to work across disciplines with Product Managers and Engineers.
  • Strong collaboration skills.
  • Comfort with ambiguity and the ability to turn complex problems into clear solutions.
  • Genuine interest in sport, coaching, and human performance.
  • Excellent written and spoken English.
