Description
- Architect secure, scalable, high-performance data solutions on Snowflake
- Build ETL pipelines with Snowflake Streams, Python, and SQL
- Improve Snowflake performance, cost efficiency, and reliability using Time Travel, Fail Safe, and Snowpipe
- Lead the modeling and design of complex Snowflake data warehouses
- Configure and maintain SnowSQL, stored procedures, and advanced SQL scripts
- Partner with cross-functional teams to define data platform requirements and deliver modern solutions
- Diagnose and resolve architectural and operational issues across Snowflake and related data platforms
- Mentor junior architects and engineers in Snowflake engineering and data platform fundamentals
Requirements
- 15–18 years of experience in data architecture and engineering, including extensive work with Snowflake and modern data platforms
- Expert-level knowledge of Snowflake architecture and engineering
- Advanced SQL proficiency
- Strong Python experience for data processing and automation
- Deep expertise in ETL pipeline development
- Hands-on experience with Snowflake Streams for real-time data ingestion
- Proficiency with Snowflake Time Travel and Fail Safe
- Experience implementing and managing Snowpipe for automated data loading
- Skilled in SnowSQL scripting and data management
- Experience with Snowflake data modeling and warehouse design
- Expertise developing and managing Snowflake stored procedures
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Engineering, or a related discipline preferred
- Snowflake SnowPro Advanced Architect certification or equivalent preferred
- Certification in data warehousing or cloud data platform architecture preferred
