Description

  • Define enterprise-wide software architectures and development methods across platforms and organizational environments
  • Design, build, configure, and troubleshoot integrations between the operations console and external platforms
  • Implement integrations through APIs, connectors, event and data pipelines, and message buses
  • Assess emerging technologies, innovations, and relationships with outsourced development partners
  • Develop plans for integration changes and architecture updates
  • Evaluate designs and project work against development standards and guidelines
  • Recommend improvements that strengthen product quality and reduce failure risk
  • Shape decisions with executive leaders, development partners, and industry standards organizations
  • Coach less-experienced engineers in software systems design and development
  • Connect ITSM, CMDB, and Security Operations workflows
  • Correlate console events, vulnerabilities, incidents, and asset data
  • Connect infrastructure and application monitoring, event management, and AIOps signals to provide end-to-end health and performance visibility
  • Own the architecture for integrating third-party products with HPE’s Disconnected Hybrid Operations Console (DHOC)

Requirements

  • United States citizenship is required
  • An active Secret or Top Secret clearance is required
  • Willingness to travel up to 25% is required
  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, information systems, or an equivalent discipline
  • Typically 10 or more years of relevant experience
  • Experience with ServiceNow ITSM, CMDB, and Security Operations workflows
  • Experience with REST APIs, Integration Hub, and event ingestion
  • Experience using Tenable Security Center for vulnerability data, scan and asset integration, and console workflows
  • Experience with OpsRamp for hybrid infrastructure monitoring, event management, and AIOps
  • Familiarity with Elastic, Proven Optics, and Cohesity is a strong advantage
  • Background designing and developing software systems, tools, and programming languages
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
  • Experience defining software system architectures for products and solutions
  • Experience integrating software systems across multiple platform types
  • Experience with software testing methodologies, test planning, debugging, and testing tools or scripts
  • A record of innovation demonstrated through multiple patents or deployed software design solutions
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including mastery of English and the local language
  • Ability to explain product architectures and negotiate options with business-unit and executive stakeholders
