Description

  • Build and strengthen relationships with current and prospective industrial clients
  • Direct business development efforts from opportunity qualification and positioning through proposals, interviews, and pursuit execution
  • Manage and grow a qualified opportunity pipeline that supports the long-term expansion of the Industrial Water practice
  • Partner with account teams, sector leaders, and technical specialists to deepen client relationships and increase market reach
  • Raise Arcadis’s industry profile through professional engagement, thought leadership, technical publications, and conference participation
  • Direct the planning, design, delivery, and optimization of industrial water, wastewater, reuse, and resource recovery initiatives
  • Act as Project Director, Technical Director, Design Manager, or subject matter expert for complex assignments and major capital programs
  • Guide multidisciplinary teams and oversee process assessments, design criteria, treatment technology selection, treatability studies, engineering packages, and construction support
  • Maintain safe, profitable delivery that meets client needs and Arcadis quality requirements
  • Deliver work through consulting, EPCM, Design-Build, Progressive Design-Build, and other alternative delivery models

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science in Chemical, Environmental, Civil, Mechanical, or a related engineering field
  • At least 20 years of industrial water and wastewater experience preferred
  • Record of developing, winning, and delivering industrial water and wastewater projects for industrial customers
  • Background leading multidisciplinary engineering teams and major capital programs
  • Demonstrated capability in business development, client relationship management, and project execution
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and client-facing skills
  • Experience supporting Food & Beverage clients required
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred
  • Experience with Data Center, Semiconductor, Pharmaceutical, Advanced Manufacturing, Chemical, or Energy clients preferred
  • Familiarity with Design-Build, Progressive Design-Build, EPCM, or other alternative delivery methods preferred
  • Prior regional, national, or global leadership experience preferred
  • Evidence of industry leadership through publications, presentations, professional associations, or technical committees preferred
