Principal Contract Administrator – Northrop Grumman, Sunnyvale Onsite

Lead contract administration for Northrop Grumman’s defense systems in Sunnyvale, supporting proposals, negotiations, compliance, deliverables, invoicing, and customer relationships.

Description

  • Support proposal preparation, contract negotiations, contract administration, and customer contract activities
  • Administer standard, nonstandard, and unconventional contracts
  • Serve as the primary customer contact for contractual issues
  • Monitor contracts and related programs to ensure contractual obligations are communicated and understood
  • Manage assigned contracts according to company policies, legal requirements, and customer specifications
  • Develop solutions for routine and complex contractual matters
  • Ensure contract requirements are fulfilled, manage changes, and maintain historical records
  • Review contract terms and conditions and recommend risk mitigation strategies
  • Support management in meeting cash management and sales objectives
  • Prepare and oversee written communications with internal and external customers
  • Enter and maintain contract data in contract management and enterprise accounting systems
  • Ensure the timely delivery of contractual deliverables, including CDRLs and SDRLs, and submit invoices
  • Represent the organization as a primary contract or project contact
  • Create and deliver presentations

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree with five years of experience in contracts or a related field, such as contracts-related law, or a master’s degree with three years of relevant experience
  • Nine years of relevant experience may substitute for the degree requirement
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
  • Working knowledge of FAR and DFARS
  • U.S. citizenship required
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government Secret security clearance required
  • Current, active U.S. Government Secret clearance preferred
  • Experience with 1ERP preferred
  • Experience working with U.S. government customers preferred
