Description

  • Analyze technical drawings and CAD models in English
  • Estimate manufacturing costs across materials, machining time, and post-processing
  • Select suitable manufacturing methods for each quotation
  • Record calculations and communicate them to the Sales and Commercial teams
  • Assess 3D models and 2D drawings for quotation accuracy and manufacturability
  • Coordinate requests for quotation and resolve technical details with Sales and Engineering
  • Keep quotation databases accurate and up to date
  • Produce accurate quotations, preferably within one to two working hours
  • Contribute to process automation and improve quoting workflows

Requirements

  • Higher technical education in mechanical engineering, manufacturing engineering, process engineering, or a related discipline
  • At least six years of experience in metalworking or mechanical engineering
  • Advanced knowledge of turning, milling, CNC machining, EDM, laser, waterjet and plasma cutting, sheet-metal processing, and welding
  • Understanding of polishing, hardening, heat treatment, anodizing, sandblasting, shot blasting, coatings, and painting
  • Knowledge of the processing characteristics of metals, plastics, and composites
  • English proficiency at B2 level or above
  • Customer-focused approach and ability to explain technical information clearly
  • High attention to detail and ability to perform under time constraints
  • Experience with CAD/CAM, CRM, and cloud-based systems
  • Expert-level technical drawing interpretation, rated 5/5
  • Tooling and fixture design for machining, assembly, and welding, rated 3/5
  • Expert-level knowledge of manufacturing processes, rated 5/5
  • Knowledge of coatings and heat treatment, rated 3/5
  • Expert-level labor-intensity and manufacturability assessment, rated 5/5
  • CNC CAM programming with SolidWorks, Fusion 360, and CypCut, rated 3/5, with willingness to continue training
  • Reliable high-speed internet connection and a suitable home working environment
