Operations Project Manager - Miovision - Hybrid Canada

Lead operational projects spanning facility expansions, production transfers, and post-acquisition integrations. Support Miovision’s smart transportation technology operations across manufacturing and logistics.

Description

  • Own project schedules and milestone tracking for operational initiatives
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams on strategic projects
  • Plan facility buildouts and assembly-line expansions
  • Monitor equipment, installation timelines, and layout execution
  • Support practical trial runs and operational testing
  • Manage transfers of tooling, inventory, and assembly lines between sites and external suppliers
  • Integrate newly acquired operational teams and processes after M&A activity
  • Standardize operating procedures and monitor integration checklists
  • Coordinate consistent reporting metrics across the organization
  • Connect Operations, Engineering, Supply Chain, Quality, and external vendors
  • Maintain project records, risk registers, and weekly status dashboards
  • Brief executive leadership and surface potential project blockers

Requirements

  • Progressive background in project management, manufacturing, supply chain, or industrial operations
  • Hands-on experience with hardware or electronics manufacturing, facility staging, product transfers, or complex warehouse environments
  • Solid command of project management practices, including task mapping, critical-path monitoring, and risk mitigation
  • Experience managing project budgets, CAPEX/OPEX spending, cost variances, and financial forecasts
  • Working knowledge of project tools such as Asana, Jira, MS Project, or Smartsheet
  • Advanced spreadsheet and operational data-tracking skills
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail
  • Effective at diagnosing and resolving complex problems
  • Able to engage, influence, and communicate effectively across departments
  • PMP or CAPM certification is an advantage
