On-Site Audit Manager - Marcq-en-Baroeul

Lead audit engagements and teams for BDL, a French accounting, audit, and consulting firm. Oversee quality, client relationships, and business development across the audit portfolio.

Description

  • Manage a portfolio of audit engagements in direct collaboration with Statutory Auditors
  • Set audit strategies and allocate appropriate resources across engagements
  • Direct each engagement through planning, fieldwork, review, finalization, and findings presentations
  • Maintain technical quality, methodological compliance, and adherence to applicable standards
  • Review complex matters, resolve technical issues, and reinforce the soundness of audit positions
  • Lead, coach, motivate, and evaluate audit team members
  • Act as a key resource for Engagement Managers and Senior Auditors
  • Develop trusted client relationships and lead important client discussions
  • Contribute to summary presentations, closing meetings, and discussions with senior management
  • Support business management and growth through portfolio organization, workload forecasting, client retention, and opportunity identification
  • Contribute to recruitment, onboarding, and team members’ professional development
  • Help advance audit methodologies, quality initiatives, and the firm’s audit offering
