Description

  • Collaborate with office leadership on strategic planning, operating budgets, quarterly updates, and strategic initiatives
  • Review monthly results, perform financial analysis, and recommend actions to improve performance
  • Develop or support solutions, profitability initiatives, and process improvements aligned with office objectives
  • Coordinate reporting on variances in contribution, earnings, and cash
  • Lead the project finance team, including recruiting, hiring, onboarding, development, and retention
  • Direct career planning and staff development through goal setting, coaching, performance reviews, and compensation evaluations
  • Manage office month-end reporting and revenue recognition processes
  • Protect financial data integrity through quality assurance and cost control
  • Oversee project backlog, reserve reviews, reporting, and revenue forecasts
  • Advise on contracting, cash management, subcontract administration, change management, cost management, and financial controls
  • Support pursuits, contract reviews and negotiations, cash management, profitability analysis, forecasting, and overhead expense management
  • Complete additional duties as assigned

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree plus seven years of experience in finance, project accounting, project analysis, or a related field
  • At least two years of project management or people management and mentoring experience
  • Manage one to seven direct and indirect finance reports; administrative positions are excluded
  • Alternatively, 11 years of relevant experience combined with two years of people management experience may substitute for education
  • Visa sponsorship is not available for this position
  • A bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, business, engineering, or a related field is preferred
