Lead office finance for HNTB in Los Angeles, overseeing project finance, budgeting, profitability, revenue, and cash management. Manage finance staff and guide contract, forecasting, and office performance decisions.
Descriere
- Collaborate with office leadership on strategic planning, operating budgets, quarterly updates, and strategic initiatives
- Review monthly results, perform financial analysis, and recommend actions to improve performance
- Develop or support solutions, profitability initiatives, and process improvements aligned with office objectives
- Coordinate reporting on variances in contribution, earnings, and cash
- Lead the project finance team, including recruiting, hiring, onboarding, development, and retention
- Direct career planning and staff development through goal setting, coaching, performance reviews, and compensation evaluations
- Manage office month-end reporting and revenue recognition processes
- Protect financial data integrity through quality assurance and cost control
- Oversee project backlog, reserve reviews, reporting, and revenue forecasts
- Advise on contracting, cash management, subcontract administration, change management, cost management, and financial controls
- Support pursuits, contract reviews and negotiations, cash management, profitability analysis, forecasting, and overhead expense management
- Complete additional duties as assigned
Cerințe
- Bachelor’s degree plus seven years of experience in finance, project accounting, project analysis, or a related field
- At least two years of project management or people management and mentoring experience
- Manage one to seven direct and indirect finance reports; administrative positions are excluded
- Alternatively, 11 years of relevant experience combined with two years of people management experience may substitute for education

- A bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, business, engineering, or a related field is preferred
