Motion Design Intern, 3-Month Hybrid Contract — Thinkingbox
Join The Heist, Thinkingbox’s motion design and post-production studio, supporting 2D and 3D animation, branded content, and campaign production.
Description
- Support the motion design team on 2D and 3D commercial, social, and digital campaigns
- Animate assets for short-form video, branded content, and broadcast projects
- Prepare project files, exports, and deliverables for multiple platforms
- Organize assets and keep project workflows orderly
- Contribute to creative reviews, brainstorming sessions, and internal critiques
- Apply feedback thoughtfully and complete revisions efficiently
- Follow developments in motion, culture, design, and emerging creative tools
- Collaborate with experienced designers and directors on client work
- Build practical experience across 2D and 3D production pipelines
Requirements
- Currently studying or recently graduated in motion design, animation, design, or a related field
- Working knowledge of Adobe After Effects
- Familiarity with Premiere Pro, Photoshop, and Illustrator
- Some experience with 3D software, preferably Cinema 4D and/or Houdini
- Basic understanding of animation principles such as timing, easing, and composition
- Strong attention to detail and a willingness to develop professionally
- Able to manage time effectively and collaborate with a team
- Clear and effective written and verbal communication skills
- Portfolio requested demonstrating personality, taste, and an understanding of motion
