Description

  • Build, test, and support scalable Java and Spring Boot backend services using sound engineering practices
  • Create accessible, responsive web experiences with React, TypeScript, and reusable components
  • Design and work with REST services according to API-first principles
  • Define and maintain reliable OpenAPI/Swagger specifications, including consistent error behavior
  • Apply microservice, object-oriented, and event-driven patterns to create modular, maintainable systems
  • Develop lightweight services, backend-for-frontend layers, integrations, and tooling with Node.js
  • Model and tune PostgreSQL schemas and queries for data integrity, performance, and auditability
  • Connect internal and external platforms through REST, webhooks, messaging, and related integration approaches
  • Package applications in containers and support cloud deployment, configuration, and consistent environments
  • Create and operate Jenkins CI/CD workflows with automated tests, quality controls, and repeatable releases
  • Add structured logs, metrics, traces, and useful diagnostics to improve operational visibility
  • Investigate and resolve application and production problems
  • Strengthen system speed, resilience, scalability, and long-term maintainability
  • Partner with Product, UX, QA, DevOps, Architecture, and engineering colleagues in design reviews, planning, delivery reviews, and improvement initiatives

Requirements

  • At least five years of full-stack software development experience, including responsibility for production applications
  • Hands-on expertise with Java and Spring, especially Spring Boot, REST services, persistence, security, and automated testing
  • Strong frontend experience with Angular or React, TypeScript, HTML, CSS, component architecture, state management, and current testing methods
  • Working knowledge of Node.js for lightweight services, integrations, build tooling, or supporting components
  • Demonstrated ability to design REST APIs and microservices for maintainable distributed systems
  • Advanced SQL capability and experience building efficient data models in PostgreSQL or similar relational databases
  • Background developing, deploying, or supporting cloud-hosted and containerized applications
  • Clear communication skills, including technical writing and facilitation of client-facing workshops
  • Knowledge of OAuth2, OpenID Connect, JWT, and secure API architecture
  • Experience with Kafka, RabbitMQ, or similar messaging and event-streaming platforms
  • Familiarity with Kubernetes, cloud services, observability tools, and secure software delivery
  • Experience with workforce management applications or platform integrations is advantageous
  • Experience with AWS services and Amazon Connect is advantageous
  • Experience with customer experience, contact center, voice infrastructure, FreeSWITCH, Kamailio, Twilio, or comparable communications platforms is advantageous
  • Understanding of forecasting, scheduling, adherence, routing, agent desktops, digital channels, or related operational processes is advantageous
  • Experience integrating CRM, identity, HR, payroll, analytics, or other enterprise systems is advantageous
  • Experience with practical AI-assisted development or AI-enabled solutions, including Claude or GitHub Copilot, is a plus
