Legal Supervisor, Civil Litigation and Consumer Law (Remote)
Lead teams and shape strategies for civil and consumer litigation in a full-service Brazilian law firm with its own legal technology platform.
Description
- Lead and oversee the consumer law team while maintaining organized workflows and compliance with procedural deadlines
- Distribute assignments and coordinate workloads to promote balanced team capacity
- Assess the technical quality of deliverables and provide continuous coaching and direction
- Produce management reports and track performance metrics for the team and its cases
- Contribute to strategic planning for civil and consumer litigation matters
- Coordinate communication between the team and partners to maintain alignment and clarity
- Review pleadings and establish appropriate case strategies
Requirements
- Law degree with active registration at the Brazilian Bar Association (OAB)
- Substantial experience handling civil and consumer litigation
- Intermediate command of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Working knowledge of legal management software and electronic court systems such as PJe, e-SAJ, and PROJUDI
- Previous experience leading a team
- Strong knowledge of procedural law and demonstrated problem-solving ability
- Experience managing performance indicators
- Highly organized, analytical, results-focused, and able to communicate clearly and assertively
- Resilient and adaptable professional profile
- Fast-moving approach with a strong sense of urgency
- Ability to make proactive decisions independently
- Flexibility in balancing competing priorities and demands
- Strong communication and client relationship capabilities
- Additional training or certification in people management, leadership, or legal process management is advantageous
