Legal Manager – Sandvik | Belo Horizonte, Brazil (Hybrid)
Lead legal advisory, risk management, compliance, and regional legal operations for Sandvik in Belo Horizonte. Sandvik provides equipment, services, and digital solutions for the mining and construction industries.
Description
- Provide legal guidance across the assigned area of responsibility
- Assess significant legal risks affecting the organization and its business activities
- Manage legal risk for contracts and other documents or correspondence by drafting, reviewing, and supporting negotiations
- Maintain Sandvik’s compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and other legal requirements
- Oversee relationships with external counsel and law firms
- Organize and deliver training on legal processes, templates, and tools
- Support the adoption and application of relevant policies and procedures
- Independently direct regional responsibilities, workstreams, and complex legal projects
Requirements
- Law degree and an active Brazilian Bar Association (OAB) license
- Advanced or fluent English proficiency
- At least five years of relevant professional experience
- Experience managing people
- COVID-19 vaccination, documented through a vaccination card listing vaccine details or a digital record issued by Conecte SUS
