Description

  • Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation under senior engineering direction
  • Contribute infrastructure-as-code configurations using Terraform or CloudFormation
  • Integrate security scans, vulnerability checks, and policy enforcement into delivery pipelines
  • Support AWS environments and Docker workloads through orchestration, monitoring, and logging
  • Translate NIST SP 800-53 controls into implementations and automated compliance evidence
  • Create repeatable operational scripts with Python, Bash, or PowerShell
  • Investigate and resolve infrastructure, deployment, and security issues
  • Apply AI-assisted tools to scripting, testing, and pipeline development while validating their results
  • Join code reviews and communicate technical changes clearly
  • Streamline manual team workflows and embed security earlier in the software delivery lifecycle
  • Work with developers, engineers, data scientists, architects, and strategists across client assignments

Requirements

  • At least one year of experience in software development, platform engineering, or operations engineering
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, cybersecurity, engineering, or a related technical field
  • Ability to script with Python, Bash, or PowerShell
  • Working knowledge of CI/CD principles and practical experience with at least one pipeline tool
  • Familiarity with AWS services, Docker, and containerization
  • Basic understanding of container orchestration
  • Exposure to infrastructure-as-code platforms such as Terraform or CloudFormation
  • Foundational Linux administration experience
  • Knowledge of networking, APIs, load balancing, and web application concepts
  • Understanding of cloud security and secure software delivery practices
  • Ability to diagnose infrastructure and deployment problems
  • Experience with AI-assisted development tools, including GitHub Copilot, for code generation and review
  • Proficiency with written communication, PowerPoint, and Excel
  • United States citizenship and eligibility to obtain a Public Trust determination for the initial engagement
  • Preferred: familiarity with NIST SP 800-53, FISMA compliance, or Authority to Operate processes
  • Preferred: experience with vulnerability scanning or security tools such as SAST, DAST, or policy-as-code
  • Preferred: experience delivering production workloads on AWS or holding an AWS certification
  • Preferred: experience in federal information technology
