Junior Controller — Philippines Remote

Home-based Junior Controller supporting Delegate CX’s financial operations for a BPO serving U.S. businesses. The role covers reporting, reconciliations, internal controls, compliance, and financial analysis.

Description

  • Create and maintain internal-control guidelines, policies, and procedures covering budgeting, accounting, cash and credit management, administration, and related activities
  • Oversee accounting-system maintenance and reconciliations, including accounts payable and accounts receivable operations
  • Support the CFO with analysis and information for budgeting and financial forecasting
  • Prepare and present financial reports, operational performance updates, and risk analyses
  • Advise management on commercial and financial matters
  • Maintain compliance with applicable state and federal regulations and professional standards
  • Develop performance benchmarks for monitoring business operations
  • Coordinate financial records and supporting documents for annual external audits
  • Handle other duties assigned by management

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business administration, or a related discipline
  • One to three years of experience in accounts payable, accounts receivable, and/or general accounting
  • Working knowledge of accounting operations, financial reporting, and financial data analysis
  • Experience supporting accounting processes, reconciliations, or financial documentation
  • Highly proficient written and spoken English
  • Advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables and formulas
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Outlook, and other commonly used Microsoft Office applications
  • Knowledge of accounting regulations, procedures, and financial controls
  • Knowledge of payroll, accounts payable, and accounts receivable processes
  • Understanding of economic principles, financial markets, and banking
  • Understanding of financial data analysis and reporting
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
  • Strong organizational and prioritization skills
  • Ability to meet strict deadlines
