Java J2EE Consultant - Temenos Banking Solutions - Hybrid Philippines
Develop enterprise Java applications and Temenos solutions for CBTW Philippines. Convert banking requirements into enhancements, testing, integrations, and client support.
Description
- Build and tailor enterprise applications with Java, J2EE, Temenos technologies, and related tools
- Create clear technical documentation for developed and customized code
- Work with technical and testing leads to resolve design questions and maintain delivery quality
- Improve existing code through refactoring for maintenance and feature enhancements
- Expand established test suites with new test cases
- Deliver technical assistance to clients and internal support personnel
- Create and deploy Jenkins pipelines for application delivery
- Develop foundational knowledge of SonarQube and SCM integration
- Convert business needs into application functionality, help maintain system reliability, and coordinate with clients and delivery teams on successful solutions
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field
- At least three years of substantial Java and J2EE development experience
- Advanced SQL capability, including complex query construction and stored procedure development
- Experience using Eclipse IDE and Java web frameworks such as Spring and Struts
- Professional experience with either Spring or Struts is required; familiarity with both is beneficial
- Working knowledge of the Software Development Lifecycle
- Knowledge of HTML, JavaScript, and fundamental UI/UX principles
- Experience working in Agile or Scrum development environments
- Basic understanding of UML, design patterns, and integration patterns
- Ready to learn Temenos technologies and enterprise banking platforms while adapting to varied technology environments
- Strong analytical, consulting, and client communication abilities
- Fintech experience is an advantage
